About our Workshops:
Our series of practical cross curricular workshops are designed to help schools keep children active, provide new sporting opportunities and demonstrate cross curricular links between sport, mental health, life skills and other areas of the national curriculum.

We visit for either 1/2 a day (£110) or a full day (£200) and run a series of  25-45 minute workshops to as many your classes as possible. Workshops have clear learning objectives and are both practical and theoretical. Resources are provided after every workshop

We currently deliver the following:

Physical and Mental Wellbeing:
1) How being active helps us learn
2) The importance of looking after our mind
3) Zones of Regulation – why its important

Healthy Eating:
Why it is so important and how it links to a positive lifestyle

Public Speaking:
Develop the skills and confidence to speak in public
Tools to combat nerves
The importance of being able to represent your view

Positive and Growth Mindset (Life skills)
1) Self confidence and positive mindset
2) Endurance and perseverance
3) Taking responsibility
4) Winning and losing properly
5) What makes a good leader

Physical and Mental Wellbeing -

Overview:

How being active helps us learn: We demonstrate the positive impact of physical activity on our body and mind.  Children take away practical tools that can be used every day to improve physical and mental wellbeing.

The importance of looking after our mind: Look at how mindfulness contributes to our happiness, health and self confidence

Zones of Regulation – why its important: If your school use the Zones of Regulation we discuss the value of checking in on yourself and your feelings.

Outcomes:
Understand physical and mental benefits of being active
Demonstrate clear link to learning / attitude
Realise that a child doesn’t need to love sport to be active
Unleash the potential of active brain breaks
Ready to use tools for mental wellbeing
Easy to implement positive mindset tools

Healthy Eating

Overview and outcomes
We look at what contributes to a healthy balanced diet and how eating right impacts our mood, energy, focus and positivity.

Programmes – As above but over the course of the six weeks children will cover all topics

Boxing - Physical skills and mental development

Overview
A licensed amateur boxer (who is qualified to teach boxing) runs a series of 45 min workshops to KS2 classes. The programme provides new sporting opportunities for children and shows the clear link between nutrition, mental wellbeing, resilience and sport.

Outcomes:
Improve mental health **
Increase understanding of how the body works**
Improve confidence / resilience
Create new sporting opportunities and offer pathways outside of school**
Improve activity levels and general fitness**
Teach boxing techniques
Increase understanding of nutrition
Give teachers transferable games they can use in PE**

Positive and Growth Mindset (Life skills)

Overview
We take the values that we so commonly see in and around schools and transform them into part physical, part theory workshops.

These workshops are designed to get children thinking and demonstrate how they can control their own outcomes
