Passwords / Walking Home
The coaches on the courses have all been many times before. For our regular bookers we understand many of you have built up great relationships with the coaches and they will recognise you and be 100% sure as to who you are collecting. If however a coach is not 100% sure as to who you are collecting they will ask you for a password. Please check your booking confirmation for the password you selected.
If you would like to give permission for your child to walk home (10+ ages) please email us before the start of the course
What to Bring:
-
A packed lunch – unless your course finishes at 12.30
-
A snack
-
A re-fillable water bottle
-
If your child has medical conditions that require items like an inhaler / epipen – please bring with you EVEN if the school has one. We do not have access to the school medical boxes / classrooms.
-
Appropriate clothes for a sports course – we will be outside!
-
Appropriate shoes – please do NOT come in just football boots as many activities take place on the playground / inside
-
PLEASE NOTE – WE ARE A NUT FREE CAMP. DO NOT BRING ANY FOOD WITH NUTS IN
How We Split Groups
Children will be split into different age groups throughout the day. If selecting sport, there will be some sports that children can choose to change group but this will not be allowed on contact sports, eg there will not be a situation where a 5 year old is playing football on the same pitch as a 10 year old.
Behaviour:
As always we promote a fun, inclusive holiday course. We understand that sport will, at times, become competitive and we will always encourage winning / losing / participating in the right way. We have zero tolerance for physical violence towards other children or bullying of any sort. We speak to all children at the start of the day to remind them of this.
How we communicate with you during the day (NEW):
-
NEW – Before 3pm we will email you a summary of what activities your child has done in the morning and what they are going on to do in the afternoon so you are kept informed
-
If your child requires any first aid for small injuries (cuts, falls etc) we will complete a first aid form and email this to you before the end of the day. If you wish to discuss it further you can speak with the coach at collection (they may ask you to wait for a few mins if it is at a busy time)
-
If your child has a head bump we will call you to inform you. You will not need to collect (unless it is a bad one and the child is requesting to be collected / we think it needs to be looked at by a doctor) but it is so you are aware of what happened etc
-
If your child complains of anything that doesn’t require first aid and they are able to continue, eg ‘my tummy hurts a bit’ the coaches will try to feed this back to you at the end of the day
-
If you need to contact us on the day please use 07719 315 932 (Whatsaap / message / call). Emails may not be picked up until after the course finishes
